I fancied a Friday evening treat, and I had spotted a quaint little cafe while driving round Leicester called Room IV. I had a look at their Facebook page and the desserts looked nice so thought I should give it a try.
What’s it like inside?
A cute little cafe with a hint of vintage glamour. I loved the way it had been decorated lots of funky clocks, seating and a beautiful chandelier. You can tell a lot of thought had gone into the decoration.
Service and food ordering
The café follows a self-serve model, you decide what you want and place your order and pay at the till. Both of the ladies that worked there were very smiley and nice.
The menu had a wide selection of food, snacks, mocktails, milkshakes, hot drinks, the list goes on. They even sell limited edition pink tea (doodpati) – think I’m going have to go back to try this the next time it is back on the menu.
We ordered a milkshake and a pizza waffle. The milkshake was mine but was had to sample some of the chocolate pizza. It tasted really nice, meted chocolate with Oreos on warm bread – it was a bit like a waffle but was a bit softer – YUM!
This is a great place to go for pudding and somewhere to catch up with your friends. They have a great selection to choose from and the food and service was very nice. If you are in the area you should definitely pop in and sample the delights for yourself.
