Kobe Sizzlers Steak house – Leicester

It was date night and we wanted to go somewhere nice for some food so thought we’d check out Kobe Sizzlers. It’s been open a while and is always packed (which is always a good sign) so decided to check this out.

What’s on the menu?
They serve a variety of food but their main focus is steaks (served on a sizzler) and burgers. They do a great variety of mocktails and some very nice desserts.

They pride themselves on the quality of their meat, they serve Aberdeen Angus Steak and all of their steak cuts are matured in a dry ageing chamber for up to 28 days.

We opted for burgers as they looked really nice. We ordered crispy prawns to start and then a grilled chicken burger and the flaming hot beef burger.

The Flaming Hot – 80z beef patty spiced with hot salsa topped with chili salsa & cheese

Chicken breast marinated in jerk seasoning, mayo, grilled pineapple & cheese

The crispy prawns to start are very nice and definitely worth ordering if you decide to try it out.

OMG! The chicken burger was amazing! The chicken breast had been sliced so you could taste the jerk seasoning with every bite. I find that if a chicken breast is too thick it ruins the tastes of the burger as all you get is mouthfuls of tasteless chicken.

The flaming hot burger was nice, the meat was cooked to perfection and all of the flavors worked really well together.

What’s it like inside?
Very nicely decorated, it has a modern bistro look with lots of exposed brick and lots of funky lights.

What’s the Service like?
It was good; we were taken to our table straight away and got the food we ordered in good time. I couldn’t fault the service.

The verdict
This is a great restaurant, the food and atmosphere is very nice. I had a great dining experience and will be returning again to sample the delights on the rest of the menu. What this space for the next review…
