We were in Bradford for the weekend and wanted to try somewhere new a friend suggested Howdy! So we decided to give it a try.
Halal and Italian usually don’t go in the same sentence, so when I found out about La Favorita I was really looking forward to giving it a try. They serve authentic Italian and Pakistani food so it’s the perfect place to go if you are dining with people who only eat curries. I’m sure you will all know a few of those people 🙂
I stumbled across Steakout while walking through town. My first though was OMG we have a new halal steak restaurant in Leicester and secondly was I have to try this place now, so I grabbed my friend and went straight in for an early dinner.
The Turkish food boom has hit most of the UK with lots of Turkish restaurants and kebab shops opening up. When my cousin told me about new restaurant in my hometown of Oadby; I had to check it out – plus I love Turkish food 🙂
On tour in London, we headed over to Camden to check out Fat Burger. I had read mixed reviews so thought it was about time Hungry and Halal checked it out.
On the hunt for the best food in the UK, we headed down south to see what London had to offer. While doing my research Boondocks caught my eye, they had a day dedicated to pancakes – Friday and also served brunch. I couldn’t contain my excitement, I had to check it out.
There are a lots of great steak places springing up all over the place. Toro’s in Leicester was one of the first steak places to open many moons ago. Being the steak pioneers in Leicester, I popped along to see what it was like.
