Boo burger opened a few weeks ago and is taking Leicester by storm, it’s the first halal burger specialist to open. I had seen lots of hype on social media about this place so wanted to check it our for myself.
A new food craze is hitting Leicester by storm – eating your food on a giant tawa. It’s a simple concept and is gaining popularity. Being the dedicated foodie that I am decided to make it my mission to do a bit of investigating.
I stumbled across Steakout while walking through town. My first though was OMG we have a new halal steak restaurant in Leicester and secondly was I have to try this place now, so I grabbed my friend and went straight in for an early dinner.
I do enjoy a piece of red meat, especially a nicely cooked steak. I’ve eaten in lots of steakhouses around the country and sampled the good the bad and the ugly of steaks. When it’s good it’s very good but when it’s not it can be like eating an old boot! Read about my steak night in.
Halal and Italian usually don’t go in the same sentence, so when I found out about La Favorita I was really looking forward to giving it a try. They serve authentic Italian and Pakistani food so it’s the perfect place to go if you are dining with people who only eat curries. I’m sure you will all know a few of those people 🙂
Today is national pie day (23 January) a day to celebrate the humble pie. I want to join in this celebration and share my very own chicken pie recipe.
A gourmet steak and burger restaurant in Leicester! I decided to give this place a try.
The MeatCo is an elite steakhouse which has restaurants in the Middle East, South Africa and the UK. Nearly everyone I know has eaten here and I wanted to give it a try. I headed down to London with an empty belly ready to sample the delights of the MeatCo.
My last day in Cardiff and I really wanted to try the Bagel and Burger Kitchen. I had read some great reviews about it and wanted to check it out for myself.
Saturday night in Cardiff we headed over to Cardiff Bay for a nice meal out. I did a bit of research and I found an Indian restaurant called Moksh. They had great reviews on Trip adviser and food photo’s looked amazing – like the food you see on Master Chef!
For me Chicken Cottage is all about the Mountain Burger, a spicy chicken fillet burger with a hash brown – yummy!
